The name of the e.p sums it all up really. A colourful array of futuristic twisted beats cold atmospherics and killer bass combos, these four tracks will be sure to please the crowd on the dancefloor at any time during the morning or night. There is something about the production in these tunes that just gives you a chill down your spine. Not only are they pushing the boundaries of drum n bass, they are keeping the programming and arrangements of these tracks very unique and complex. Giving the listener something to think about is an essential quality in the drum & bass game, these producers are doing more than just that, they are forever evolving and expanding their sound to keep that vital vibe alive. Having had previous releases on Silk and various other labels, these two gents from Ukraine are really going to be making head-waves in the scene with more releases lined up and a vision for future beats, it doesn't look like these two producers are going to give up that easily.

Synchronize Digital 001 - Up and coming Russian producer Ruin brings the ticks and tocks proper in a virtual rain shower of minimal techno madness in the futuristic tune "Timeshift". Next up is a power punch from the one Stereotype. "Echo" is a straight forward dancefloor banger with a heavy robotic stomp to boot. Vibes on both tunes are running strong and are setting a high standard with the debut release on Synchronize Digital. Prepare yourself for the future...

While there is no generally accepted formal definition of Algorythm, an informal definition could be 'a process that performs some sequence of operations' for some people, a program is only an algorythm if it stops eventually. For others, a program is only an algorythm if it stops before a given number of calculation steps. A prototypical example of an Algorythm is stereotype's track to determine the maximum common divisor of two integers (x and y) which are greater than one: we follow a series of steps: in step i, we subtract y from x (being the larger number) and find the remainder, which we call r1. then we move to step i + 1, where we substract r1 from y, and find the remainder, which we call r2. if r2=0, we stop and say that r1 is the greatest common divisor of x and y. If not, we continue, until rn=0. then rn-1 is the max common division of x and y. This procedure is known to stop always and the number of subtractions needed is always smaller than the larger of the two numbers. If you do not understand one word of that rubbish, never mind and check out stereotype's first track on fish recordings called Algorythm.
